You Are Most Like Miranda!

While you've had your fair share of romance, men don't come first

Guys are a distant third to your friends and career.

And this independence *is* attractive to some men, in measured doses.

Remember that if you imagine the best outcome, it might just happen.

Romantic prediction: Someone from your past is waiting to reconnect...

But you'll have to think of him differently, if you want things to work.

Which Sex and the City Vixen Are You Most Like?
Take This Quiz Right Now!

Find the Love of Your Life
(and More Love Quizzes) at Your New Romance.

The Election 2004

ABSTAINED! Yes, that's right. Unlike sex and compulsive eating, I chose to abstain from voting. Why? It's not as simple as because I was too lazy to line up and look for my name (if it ever reached the voters' list) and vote for candidates who promised the moon and the stars but would most likely steal galactic amounts of money from us. No! Not that simple. I chose not to vote because this election is pathetic. Pathetic that there are no other alternative candidates to choose from. This election was just a Royal Rumble of old political families battling out for the local funds of whatever province or city they'd want to convert into their little kingdom. Eddie Villanueva was a fresh alternative but he doesn't have a chance in hell (Uy, hell daw.) to even get a fraction of a significant number of voters.
I abstained because I, like most Filipinos, have a Lilliputian complex. I think little of myself and I don't think that my vote would even matter. What can my single vote do to change a dying country? How can a diminutive person like me change a nation, instill social consciousness in my brethren and make others aware that there is a nation that we should love? I probably abstained because I have lost hope...
I abstained because I was too drunk that Monday.
